Gameplay: Bid. Play. Win!
This game is for 2-6 players. The goal is to score the most points; this can be done by correctly taking the amount of tricks that you bid.

What is a trick?
-the set of cards played in a turn (each player will play one card)

How do you take a trick?
1) Play the highest trump card in the round
2) Play the highest number that round of the color led

You MUST follow the color led if able (there are 4 colors: red, blue, yellow and white; the exception's are the green cards).

Here are some examples:

Green cards: These cards may be played on your turn without having to follow the color led.
1x Green Monkey, 4x Sneaky Snails

Green Monkey: The "God Mode" card. When this comes into play you will choose one of the 4 main colors of the game. It acts as a 15 so if you choose trump, you win.
Sneaky Snail: This is a 0, you would play this to avoid taking a trick. If a sneaky snail is led the next color played is the color all players must follow.
You may alternatively choose to play the sneaky snail on the player to your left. IF played on that player you will "sneak" into their hand and steal one card. The player stolen from will then put the sneaky snail into their hand. Play resumes as normal and the player that played the sneaky snail will have to play a card and must follow the color led if applicable.
Exceptions: If a sneaky snail is led, and all of the other players only play a sneaky snail - the person that led will take the trick. If a sneaky snail is turned up as the trump color, there is no trump for this round. If you steal from the player to your left they must block you from stealing if they have a 12, 13 or the green monkey. That player must show the card to all players - then the sneaky snail must be played by the original player as a 0.
There are 8 rounds of play; the amount of cards each player gets is equal to the round number. The dealer is responsible for deciding the trump color by drawing one extra card during the deal and placing a card of their choosing face up on the deck.
After the deal there will be a round of bidding, starting with the player to the left of the dealer where the total bid amongst players may or may not equal the total amount in the round.
Next is gameplay, the person to the left of the dealer leads; players must follow the color led if able (unless you play one of the green exception cards - a green monkey or sneaky snail). The person that takes the trick will be the next player to lead. Taking the trick is determined by 1) the highest trump card played, 2) the highest card played that follows the color led.
Players will continue until there are no cards left in your hand; then figure out who made their bid, tally the score - then pass the deal and move on to the next round!

Games take 10-20 minutes but because the bonus points increase each round most people will have a scenario that will allow them to still win!

Good luck!
